CoEJ organised a seniors trip following our heritage footsteps to Madagascar and Mauritius from the 1-19 of March 2019. This was attended by a number of seniors from our communities across the UK led by Br Ashikhussein Rashid.
Some of the highlights of the trip included visits to the National Parks on the East coast of Madagascar, a visit to the great the Isalo massif and the natural swimming pool and more. This trip also included visits to our communities in Madagascar including Tulear and Antananarivo where they had the privilege of touring the school and widows housing which are managed by our jamaats there.
In Mauritius a tour of the countryside was offered and they visited various crafts and jewelry workshops as well as an extinct volcano which offered breathtaking views of the Island. The trip ended with a relaxing stay at a beach hotel in Mauritius. Below are some of the photos from this memorable trip.
