Following the success of the first session, The Council of European Jamaats held it’s second Wellbeing Training Program on Saturday 09 March 2019.
This awareness and skills training program explored ways on being mindful of your own well-being and highlighted how to spot the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues in order to provide initial support and help others on a first aid basis. The session equipped the participants with skills to guide a person towards appropriate professional help and also to help one develop an understanding of how one can create and maintain a healthier community.
Feedback received from the participants:
All the participants felt that their personal confidence in how to best support others with a mental health issue had significantly increased after the program.
75% of the participants rated the CoEJ MHFA course as Very Good and the rest rated it as being Good.
