Emotional Support Skills Workshop

Due to the high demand for this training session, another session has been arranged for anyone who might have missed the previous ones.

CoEJ Well-Being Network is offering training Online to support volunteers who are making calls to vulnerable members of the community during this time.

This program is aimed at offering volunteers the opportunity to develop skills pertaining to supporting positive mental health amongst community members and in doing so, adding value to the conversations already taking place.
Join us as we explore the skills required to support the most vulnerable in our community with their emotional wellbeing, get a chance to put these skills into practice, and also cover some basic Mental Health First Aid.
It will give participants the opportunity to practice and learn the following:

4. Questioning Skills
5. Active Listening
6. Empathy
7. Signposting
