CoEJ Summer Camp 2020

The Council of European Jamaats is proud to launch CoEJ Summer Camp 2020.

Date: Saturday 08 August to Wednesday 12 August 2020

Age: Boys and Girls 11-14 years

Venue: Kingswood Grosvenor Hall, Kennington, Ashford, TN25 4AJ

Price: £250 (Members)
£399 (Non -Members)

Transport may be available from Stanmore at an additional cost (Approx £25)

CoEJ Summer Camp will be a fun, safe and welcoming environment where children can strengthen their Islamic identity and enhance their personal growth.

The Camp will focus on:

  • Service to community and society
  • Building confidence/public speaking
  • Long term goals- making positive choices
  • Having fun
  • Exploring character and identity
  • Networking and building positive relationships
  • Opportunities for discussion and debate with Spiritual mentors on contemporary issues

The Campers will take part in various exciting indoor and outdoor activities which aim at developing teamwork and communication skills and which will encourage them to think creatively. Physical activities include Abseiling, Archery, Canoeing, Zipwire and many others.

Values which will be instilled in the Camp include: Teamwork, Sportsmanship, Gratitude, Responsibility, Compassion and Servitude (towards God and others).

Campers will be supported by mentors throughout their stay. The mentors will encourage, support and nurture the campers in their growth and development.
