The Council of European Jamaats is pleased to announce the appointment of Brother Sadiq Datoo as the new chairman of the Youth Desk, following a transition from Brother Mohamedhusein Nasser earlier this month.
Sadiq has been an active volunteer for a number of years in his home Jamaat of Stanmore, at CoEJ and at the World Federation. He was a member of the CoEJ Sweden 2006 Administration team and was part of the Conference Management team for the successful World Federation onference 2006 in Dubai. Sadiq has a degree in Internet Computing from the University of Essex and currently is the Director of lmno.co.uk.
The President of The Council of European Jamaats, Munawer Rattansey had the following to say: "I am delighted that Brother Sadiq has agreed to take on this role. Sadiq has been an active volunteer for CoEJ in recent years and I look forward to him applying the same passion and dedication for the community to the Youth.
Insha'allah he and his team will build on the work undertaken by Brother Mohamedhusein to fulfil the Council and Youth Desk objectives."
