| To give the intern experience of working for a licensed insolvency practitioner
| Company:
| Griffins are a business recovery firm dealing in all matters of insolvency and recovery strategies. As Licensed Insolvency Practitioners, they handle all types of personal and corporate insolvency work. They act for clients who have run into financial difficulties, as well as those who are owed money. Griffins are recognised in the profession for their outstanding record of helping their clients recover monies and also setting legal precedents in the insolvency profession. There are three specialist teams committed to seeking solutions to complex insolvency challenges and work closely with their clients.

| 4 weeks, with start date to be mutually agreed.

| Monday – Friday 9.30 to 5.30
| Person Specification:
| The intern will be a university student and should preferably be studying a business/financial or law degree.
| Brief Job specification:
| 1. The Summer Internship programme is a unique way of gaining an insight into the insolvency profession, whilst learning some important skills required for a future career. 2. The intern will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will provide all the training and support required to make the role challenging and fulfilling. 3. The intern will initially work in the Investigation Team assisting in the various facets of the team’s work. The role could involve working with some of the leading professionals in the industry. 4. There will also be an opportunity to work with the Personal and Corporate insolvency teams. 5. There will be an opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases ensuring a full exposure to what can be expected from a career in the insolvency profession. 6. The intern will carry out duties assigned by the mentor/manager efficiently, thoroughly and in accordance with the firm’s procedures. 7. Time spent is recorded on a regular basis to ensure that it is consistent with the proper performance of the work. |
