CoEJ Youth Desk kicked off their fact finding tour on Saturday, 11 November 2006. In a joint visit with CoEJ Education, Leeds jamaat kindly hosted the visitors and over dinner, had a productive and fruitful discussion. The Jamaat needs and wants were shared; Youth, Madressa and wider issues such as the Jamaat website were brought forward.
During the discussion, which included members of the EC and the Jamaat Youth Coordinator, the aims and visions of the YD were presented, and opinion sought on these. The views garnered will be compiled as part of the desks report and will insha'allah shape the future of the desk.
