This year on Eid -e-Mubahila, 17th January 2007, Al-Mahdi Youth of Wessex organised its first religious event - a Qur'an Competition. The event required the youth to work in teams to answer questions on the Holy Qur'an. The aim of this event was to teach the youth the most thorough guide for all of mankind which is the Holy Qur'an, and all committee members agreed that a lot of time and effort went into this competition from the youth into preparation etc., and overall it was very well done.
