In recent years, the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) has been under considerable scrutiny. This special event will explore whether his legacy is of relevance to the 21st century. Can his unique approach offer solutions to today's problems?

The event will feature a 'Question Time' panel with guests Sheikh Arif Abdulhussein, Reverend David Gray, Mohammed Hilli and Jafar Ladak. The audience will be able to ask questions and comment on the following topics related to Prophet Muhammad's message:

Prophet Muhammad and Universality - What can Muhammad offer humanity? 

  • Religious pluralism, social integration and multiculturalism
  • Diplomacy, international relations and foreign policy
  • The role of law in social reform
  • Human rights

 

 

 

Islam's relationship with other Abrahamic faiths

  • What is the role of monotheism in today's secular world?



Misconceptions about the life of Prophet Muhammad

The audience will consist of both Muslim and Christian students and community leaders. Please come prepared with your questions. The event will also host an Islamic exhibition, books stalls and nasheeds. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend.
