Abbasi Youth Committee Play Station Tournament and Book Fair Report |

A book fair was held in conjunction with a playstation tournament as the AYC’s first event.
There were over 100 titles on various aspects of Islam including childrens books and the new Quran translation by Ali Quli Qarai.
The event was held on a Saturday evening. Several books were sold and those that had the opportunity to browse through the books commented on the wide variety.
The books had been provided by the Islamic Education Board of the World Federation and have since been returned as per their request.
The playstation tournament had the same turnout as the book fair, as they were in the same hall. Games were played, but not on the round robin basis, and the result was an evening of casual PS rivalry.
Announcing of the title holder thus remains pending till after exam season.
