Zainali Panjwani
Zainali Panjwani was born in 1991 in Chelmsford, Essex. His father Mohammed Panjwani was born in Tanzania and his mother Nikhat Panjwani was born in India. Zainali is the middle child; he has one younger sister and has an older brother Hasnain, who has been to the Sweden camp many times, in the progressive roles of a  camper, mentor and now admin, and is currently the Secretary of the CoEJ Education committee.

Zainali is at the Anglo European School in Essex and is sitting for the GCSE examinations this summer, including Arabic language. He is to pursue his passion of learning of Arabic in Damascus in the early part of this summer. He is an accomplished and renowned regular recitor of Duas, Quran and Ziyarat. He likes listening to Arabic Qasida’s and recites these on special occasions at his local Islamic centre. He was a student of the Hujjat Saturday Workshop madressa, and until recently, he used to teach there to the younger boys the correct recitation of the Quran.

Zainali has been to the Sweden camp, twice as a junior camper and once as senior camper. He is now coming back in the role of the Camp Mukhi.

He is passionate about cricket but is also keen on basketball. He also plays table tennis, badminton, tennis and sometimes golf.
