Alhamdulillah the Campers and Administrators arrived safely at the campsite in Kärsögården. Thanks to all the parents for their co-operation during the check-in process in Birmingham and Stanmore and thanks to all the volunteers who helped out during these sessions.
The campers will be having a tour of the site and meeting their mentors before sitting down to dinner. Insha'allah their diaries will be posted in the diary section starting tomorrow.
Please do not hesitate to leave messages for the campers in the messages section – these will be read out in the nightly sessions. Please keep them brief as long messages time constraints do not permit the reading out of long messages.

Alhumdillah, the mentors advance party has landed safely in Sweden. The party consisted of all 10 mentors along with the camp Mukhi and their teacher/trainer Fazleabbas Kanji. Hasnain Panjwani also accompanied the group as part of the camp administration team, as did the two chefs. Read the Blog for past messages |

The weekend of the 22nd – 24th saw the passing of the Sweden 2007 training weekend. Internally dubbed the MTW (Mentor Training Weekend), this name is no longer directly applicable with Mentors, teachers, support staff and administrators all in attendance.
Housed in the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Northampton, the mentors, teacher, admin, mukhi, media relations and office manager spent two days focussing the mind, training the body and sharing the ethos of the camp.

Salaam Alaykum,
Its been a long time since our last blog. Things have been moving steadily over the last few weeks.
The final list of campers has now been confirmed with our full allotment of 48 being achieved. This means we can have all 6 planets and it looks like the competition in sports and PDT will be one to look out for. A reminder to all those who have not sent their cheques and declarations forms, please do so immediately as we cannot confirm the place until we have them. |
