Ashiq Damani was born in 1981, in London, UK. His parents emigrated to UK in 1972 and have settled in London ever since.
He is currently working in London as a Software Developer. He completed his GCSE at Brentwood School in Essex, and did his A-Levels in Mathematics and Physics at Queens' School in London. He went on to study Computing at Derby University and graduated in 2003. He has now worked for more than three years within IT industry. Ashiq is recently engaged.
On the communal front, he is an active member of Stanmore Jafferys and regularly chairs seminars. He teaches a number of subjects at Hujjat Saturday Workshop and hopes to use the experience gained to continue to do more public speaking. His hobbies include playing football, reading and has had a long term interest in cars. He is also well travelled having visited places such as Brazil, Turkey, Egypt and Middle East.
