The Camp this year will run for 23rd July to 3rd August 2006. This year we have 7 members of the Administration team, five of whom are travelling to the Camp, whilst two will remain in the UK to form the contact points. The Camp is also blessed with the presence of 9 mentors, all of whom have been specifically handpicked. We also have two cooks, who are integral to the Camp, and without whom the Camp would be impossible to run.

The Camp is created with the assistance of our counterparts in Kärsögården, and we would like to thank them for their full co-operation. The Camp is the culmination of twelve months of consistent effort my a number of individuals, and we would like to thank them all for their genuine hard work and dedication.

InshAllah this Camp will be successful, and we wish all the Campers, Mentors and Admin staff the very best!

Education Blog - The Sun E-mail

Dear Camper,

The Admin team (The Sun) is composed of individuals who have different degrees of responsibility. In fact, some of the Admin team were actually campers in previous CoEJ camps, who were then invited back as Mentors, and are now, because of their enthusiasm and dedication, part of the Admin team.

This year the Admin team is made up of the following:

•  Dr Mahmood Datoo (The Administrator of the Camp)
•  Shabbar Dhalla (UK Administrator)*
•  Mahmood Dhala (UK Administrator)*
•  Ali Panju (Administrator)
•  Hasnain Panjwani (Administrator)
•  Fazle Abbas Kanji (Junior / Senior Camp Manager)
•  Shan-E-Abbas Hassam (Administrator)
•  Sadiq Datoo (Administrator)

* Contact point for parents during the Camp – e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

The above members of the team will create blogs (a detailed account of their individual contribution to the preparations of the camp) as frequently as possible.

We hope you will enjoy reading them.

CoEJ Administrative Team.

Day 12 - Sweden 2006 E-mail

We woke up early today because we had to pack up and clean our rooms up. But before we done all that or had breakfast we had to shower and get ready! We then went for breakfast, we had cereal and milk, which was boring but we were on a schedule and the cooks had too much to do. After Breakfast we had to remove our suitcases from our rooms that we had packed the night before. We stripped our beds, swept the floor and the best bit, mopped the floor. It was funny because we used too much water and it soaked the whole floor. Ashiq bha and Sajjad bha came to the rescue and un-soaked it for us.  Once all our rooms were cleaned, some of us helped the mentors with the bathrooms. We then took our suitcases to a nearby marque were all the suitcases were gathered and would then be taken to the coach for us.

Day 11 - Sweden 2006 E-mail
We awoke this morning to be reminded  by our mentor that this is the final day of camp. It seems like we've been here for a long time, having done so many activities, classes, sports and trips in the past two weeks. At the same time, we remember the day we got here like it was just yesterday; with the apprehension of not knowing what it would be like, or what the people would be like. We're all looking forward to going back home tomorrow.
