The Camp this year will run for 23rd July to 3rd August 2006. This year we have 7 members of the Administration team, five of whom are travelling to the Camp, whilst two will remain in the UK to form the contact points. The Camp is also blessed with the presence of 9 mentors, all of whom have been specifically handpicked. We also have two cooks, who are integral to the Camp, and without whom the Camp would be impossible to run. The Camp is created with the assistance of our counterparts in Kärsögården, and we would like to thank them for their full co-operation. The Camp is the culmination of twelve months of consistent effort my a number of individuals, and we would like to thank them all for their genuine hard work and dedication. InshAllah this Camp will be successful, and we wish all the Campers, Mentors and Admin staff the very best!

They, along with camp manager (Hasnain Panjwani), Mentor Trainer (Fazleabbas Kanji), MBTI instructor (Yasin Rahim), resident Alim (Sheikh Shahnawaz) and our 2 wonderful chefs will fly to Sweden a day early to complete their training, and prepare for our arrival. |

Camper’s teaching notes are being sent to the printers and so are the certificates! The administration team is now in its final leg of preparation and so are our liaisons in Sweden awaiting the mentors’ arrival on Saturday morning and the camper’s arrival on Sunday morning. Campers, don’t forget, checking desk at Stanmore opens at 10.30 p.m. on Saturday 22 July 2006. |

One could feel the anxiety and apprehension in the room as the participants embarked upon another round of Mentor Training Weekend. With a few Ice breakers and the odd sarcastic remark from Munir Uncle, the nerves were soon settled.
