Returnees Reception E-mail
Sweden 2006 - Concepts

The Returnees Reception, organised at Hujjat Stanmore Centre, is at the heart of the camp’s ethos. It is imperative that parents who collect their sons are given a thorough feedback of their son’s development, learning preferences, Wudhu and Salaa Assessments, sporting prowess, Qu’ran recitation, health whilst on the camp and their overall Akhlaaq. At the Returnees Reception, both passports and medication (if any) will be given back to the campers.

The reception forms an occasion where parents can meet other parents and relatives, rekindle old acquaintances and meet the admin team. Moreover, the Returnees Reception is of great significance, it allows the mentors to give detailed feedback to their campers’ parents. This is particularly important, the cornerstone of the CoEJ Sweden Camp is the idea of development, and therefore the mentors can indicate areas where the camper can continually develop. It is for this reason that all parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

The Returnees Reception will take place in the early hours of Thursday morning (3rd
August), once the coach arrives at the Hujjat Stanmore Centre. The parents are kindly requested to unload their child’s luggage off the coach and place it within their cars. All parents are then asked to stay for refreshments, whilst receiving detailed feedback from their son’s mentors.

Admin staff will be available for:

Feedback
Handover
Incident report (if any)

Mentors will be available for:

Handover passport
Give feedback, in detail, on the camper’s personal development plan.

Field Q & A.

1st Aid / Medical Staff will available for:

Handover Medication
Discuss New Injuries (inshAllah there will be none)
Feedback on general incidents (if any)
Field Q & A

Last but not by any means least, after the tasty refreshments; it will be time for emotional farewells. The Parents, Campers, Admin, Mentors, 1st Aid / Medical Staff can all travel home safe in the knowledge that not only have the campers’ had a truly wonderful time, but at the same time learnt from each other, from Admin, from their lessons, and from their Mentors!

Another successful CoEJ Sweden Summer camp will have ended and all the Organisers and Participants pray that the CoEJ motto of :-

"Towards Excellence - personally, emotionally, spiritually and physically"
 has been achieved, Insha-Allah.
