Lie in day!!

The day of Friday, Jumuah, had arrived and we were treated to a lovely lie in after a night of Duas, Q&A session and Salaatul Layl.
Classes started at 11:30am today and they were not normal lessons. We were joined together with class 3 and were given an opportunity to give feedback to the camp admin about various issues around the camp. For example, how we found the camp site, the food, the rooms, the staff etc etc. It was nice to be able to have this opportunity to talk about our feelings.

After classes we were rushed of to salaatul Juma. After we were all seated and ready Sh2 (Sheikh Shanawaz) entered looking like a proper maulana with his turban and stick, which was actually a branch broken from a tree close by! It was as high as him and he looked ready to knock someone out! Sheikh talked about the importance of Friday, the recitation of salawat on Friday and also how to recite salaatul Juma.

The best part of the day came at sports when we did tube skiing. What a great experience! And it was all topped off by two wonderful gymnastic flips, by Aliraza bha and our very own Sh2 who decided to try his luck at the sport. No doubt he was reciting his duas before tumbling and falling in!

Finally we had a volleyball match against the mentors who, um who, um, yeah trashed us, anyway onto more important stuff.

This day we felt was one of the best at the camp so far!
