I’ve got some pretty bad news for this blog entry: the 16+ section of the Camp is not going to go ahead after all. The principal reason behind this is because the Admin only received a handful of applicants, and so it was not practicable to have the 16+ Camp to go ahead. The decision was not actually based on financial feasibility but upon the fact that with such few campers in the 16+ section, the quality, enjoyment and progression of each 16+ camper would be unduly compromised. The rest of the Camp will continue in earnest and will not be affected in anyway by this cancellation.
I am informed the CoEJ Education has already contacted each camper individually explaining the circumstances.
Despite the cancellation, this year’s Camp still promises to be truly exciting; I hope everyone is looking forward to tube skiing, canoeing and playing competitive football.
