Day 8 - Campers Diary - Pluto |

The day began with breakfast and was followed by classes. In Sohail bha's class we learnt about joining the right crowd. Imam Ali said that
your friends shouldn't be fools and have a negative impression upon us or lie. Mainly our friends should help us and have a positive impression upon us and don't deceive us. Then in Hasnain bha's (our mentor) class we talked about the eyes and were told that our eyes have lenses inside them to recieve ad pass the light to the retina. Some eyes have problems like cataracts and might need a plastic lens and so it is very important for us to regularly have an eye test for a health check. Maulana talked about all the ayatollahs of the 20th century. He also told us some exciting stories of a student and a maulana. We then prayed zohrain namaz and had lunch in which we had chicken pilau, yogurt, vegetable soup, bread , cheese and salad. Then in sports we did canoing in which we set off in groups of two or three and had many small races, one of which was the the race between Jabir and Muhammad Panjwani against Khalil and Ali Abbas. It was such an intense race that Jabir and Muhammad capsized and so had to forfeit. The other task in the activity as to find the 22 letters scattered around the islands and make a word out of them. At the end of the session it ended up as a bit of a splashing contest and a great time was had by all. For dinner we had an amazing meal of fish and chips which we all were looking forward to and it taste just as good as we had hoped. We then prayed Maghribain namaz followed by a session of PDT at the end of the day. We had quizzes in which Pluto did really well achieving one of the top marks and then Arif bha gave his mentor introduction to us. More quizzes followed and then our mentor Shuyayb bha gave his mentor introduction. After which was the premiership quiz in which we got full marks! GO PLUTO! There was news brief and an embarrassing postbag followed by the debate which Pluto also won. GO PLUTO! |
