Camper Diary Mercury

We were woken up at half 8 for breakfast and after being woken up for fajr just 5 hours before at 3 am we felt really groggy. However after a wash we headed down to breakfast. We then had a mid camp feedback in the PDT hall with Hasnian bha were we talked about the points that we had enjoyed about the camp and what we felt needed to be improved about the camp.

After this we then met up at the Columbus area where we made our own friendship groups and a mentor was assigned to look after us during the trip. We then had a 40 minute coach ride to the park and there we were given our wrist bands for entry to the park and the rides. However first we had to pray namaaz. Some of the rides we went on were: extreme, a ride which went in several different directions and several other rollercoaster’s. There were even fun and a haunted house! Everyone had a  tremendous amount of fun.

After we came back we had half an hour free time where some washed up and some played sports. At 9.00pm we prayed Maghrib namaaz then a selection of quizzes in PDT, desert and then we had a well deserved sleep. We were all exhausted but we had a fun day.
