Arifali Hirji Appointed CoEJ Relief Team Leader |

Arifali Hirji was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Has been involved in community work for many years. In Stockholm (Marsta) Jamaat he has served in different capacities including Vice President, Youth Chairman, Webmaster, Madressa Teacher, as well as WF IEB and ZCSS representative. Arifali moved to the UK approximately two years ago. In Stanmore Jamaat, he has alhamdulillah the opportunity to serve as volunteer for the English Listening Centre as well as Stanmore Jafferys, and he is currently a teacher at the Shia Ithna'asheri Madressa.
Arifali has an MSc in Engineering Physics with a specialisation in Financial Mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and has worked as a Researcher at London Business School. Currently he works as an Energy Analyst.
Upon his appointment as the Relief Team Leader, Arifali said:
