Meeting with Seyed Jawad Shahrastani

The President of The Council of European Jamaats, Alhaj  Dr Husein Jiwa accompanied by the President of Hujjat Alhaj Kamruddin Khaki President of Peterborough & Chairman of ICA Alhaj Razahusein Rahim & Alhaj Mustafa Jaffer attended a special lunch in honour of Seyed Jawad Shahrastani the wakil of Ayatullah Sistani at The Zahra Trust In London on 6th September 2011.Further to the main event Agha Seyed Jawad Shahrastani granted a personal audience in which he after salaams expressed admiration for the the khoja community & its organised way of working.

On hearing about CoEJ activities including tabligh work, Agha reminded of the tremendous work done by khoja community in Africa that he had seen & advised the community in Europe to continue in the same vain.

He also urged that vigilance be maintained in the matter of the children & the youths of the community to ensure that they are supported fully to understand their beloved faith and remain in the Madhab of Ahlulbayt (a.s.). We are thankful to Agha Seyed Jawad Shahrastani for granting us an audience and we would like to thank Sheikh Massoumin of The Zahra Trust for facilitating this meeting and his admirable hospitality.
