Press Release: Riots in England

In light of the recent riots which have taken place in various parts of England, The World Federation of KSIMC and The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ) is grateful to the many who have written to them showing concern towards the safety of the community members during the mindless disturbances taking places in England.

The Community members are urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with the relevant authorities at the first sign of disturbances.

The Police authorities have cracked down on the rioters with their massive presence in affected areas and elsewhere only minor sporadic violence has been reported by the press. The World Federation and CoEJ condemns such riots and urges a restoration of peace and security for all.

During this Holy Month of Ramadhan we request Mumineen to pray for the safety and wellbeing for all during these turbulent times.
