Mosque-Shrine of our Prophet Muhammad PBUHGlory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing. (Surah al-Isra : 1)

27th Rajab is the date when Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) was given permission by Allah (swt) to first travel miraculously from Makkah to Jerusalem, with the assistance of Angel Gibriel (a.s.). They then ascended unto the Heavens and The Holy Prophet (SAWW) received infinite knowledge, wisdom, guidance and blessings from Allah as his chosen and most beloved servant. This ascension is unanimously accepted and revered by Muslims, since it has been clearly mentioned in the Holy Quran.

According to certain narrations, Sayyedah Fatemah Zahra (s.a.) was born on 20th Jamaada al Thaani. The exact year of birth is uncertain, and is commonly thought to be either 605 A.D. or 615 A.D.
