Collection of Huqquq and Non Huqquq Funds |

The Council of European Jamaats has entered into an agreement with The World Federation where it has been authorised to collect all huqquq and non-huqquq funds from individuals and member Jamaats in Europe on their behalf, including khums monies.
This agreement is a milestone in the history of The Council of European Jamaats since this paves the way for the commencement of our financial autonomy. The channelling of these monies has the effect of reducing our financial dependence on The World Federation. The number of projects we are able to run is directly linked to the amount of money collected in this way. The more we collect, the greater our ability to run programmes and services for Europe and ensure that the needs of all our member Jamaats are met.
Your support and active participation in the channelling of all these funds via CoEJ, rather than directly to The World Federation, will ensure the growth and development of our organisation. This agreement is a stepping stone towards making CoEJ an autonomous and responsible federated member of The World Federation. This will ensure CoEJ will become an equal partner with other regional organisations when it receives full membership.
I would be grateful if you could, with immediate effect, commence the process of channelling the said funds via The Council of European Jamaat’s Secretariat offices. I will ensure that a receipt is issued to yourselves, or the individual member, immediately. I look forward to receiving your support and commitment as we continue to strengthen and develop our organisation.
