Are you a undergraduate student who wants to:
• See politics in action?
• Create social change?
• Advance your leadership skills and networks?
Undergraduate ParliaMentors is a UN Award winning programme which offers undergraduates the opportunity to be mentored by MPs and Peers, create social action and political empowerment projects with support from leading NGOs, and to develop skills and networks through expert-led workshops and events.
Participants on the programme work in trios of undergraduates of different faiths and beliefs on this year-long programme (Sept 2011-June 2012) which runs alongside academic studies. Over 150 people have graduated from the programme from universities in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham and Manchester over the last 4 years, many of whom currently work in politically-related fields.Visit: http://www.threefaithsforum.org.uk/mentoring
