Hilal Advisory Team Statement: Shaabaan 1433AH

new-moonThe Astronomical New Moon is on Tuesday 19th June 2012 at 4:03BST.

The crescent will not be visible anywhere on this day. It can be easily seen on Wednesday 20th June 2012 in central Africa, Carribean and South Africa.

According to the rulings of Ayatullah Sistani (based on the Theory of Differing Horizons), 1st Sha'abaan 1433AH will be on Friday 22nd June 2012.

For the Muqallideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khui, 1st Sha'abaan 1433AH will be on Thursday 21st June 2012.
