Based on the rulings of differing of horizons, there is no possibility of sighting the crescent anywhere in Europe on Sunday 31st July 2011 .

As for Monday, 01st August 2010,  a rationale for beginning of Ramadhan 1432AH has been agreed by Hilal Advisory Team and forwarded to Najaf for guidance from His Eminence. Based on guidance from Najaf, HAT will publish the statement on 01st  August 2011 after Maghribayn inshaAllah

Expect 1st of Ramadhan 1432AH on Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd August 2011

Based on the ruling of unity of horizons, and sharing of the night, there is a distinct possibility of sighting the crescent in Southern Africa and South America and areas westwards on Sunday 31st July 2011. Europe shares the night with these regions.

1st Ramadhan 1432 will start on Monday 1st August 2011.
