Secretariat Crescent Sighting Announcements Safar 1432AH
The Astronomical New Moon is on Tuesday 4 January 2011 at 9.03a.m. The crescent will not be visible anywhere on this day. On Wednesday, 5th January 2011, it can be easily seen in many parts of the world including most of Europe.
1st Safar 1432AH will thus be on Thursday, 6th January 2011 for the Muqallideen of Ayatullah Sistani and Marhum Ayatullah Khui.
