The Astronomical New Moon is on Sunday, 11 July 2010 at 8.42pm BST. The crescent is not expected to be visible anywhere on this day. It will be visible on Monday, 12 July 2010 in Americas.The crescent is not expected to be seen in Europe on Monday 12th July 2010. Based on Theory of differing Horizons according to the rulings of Ayatullah Sistani, 1st Shaaban 1431 AH will be on Wednesday, 14 July 2010 after completion of 30 days of Rajab.As for the Muqallideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khui, 1st Shaaban 1431 AH will be on Tuesday, 13 July 2010.
