Secretariat Crescent Sighting Announcements Hilal Advisory Statement: Jamada al Ula 1431AH
The Astronomical New Moon is on Wednesday, 14 April 2010 at 1.30pm BST. The crescent will not be visible anywhere on this day. On Thursday 15 April 2010, it will be easily seen in Europe.
Should the crescent be sighted as expected, 1st Jamada al Ula 1431AH will be on Friday, 16 April 2010 for the Muqallideen of Ayatullah Sistani and Marhum Ayatullah Khui. The Hilal advisory Team will update the website accordingly.
