On Sunday 3rd March 2013, Peterborough Husaini Islamic Centre was successful in holding a benchmark event that had been long awaited by all.

With the uncertainties of the future, not knowing what is to come, many a person gets lost in their travel due to lack of understanding of who they are and what they want in their building blocks of life.  For this reason, Peterborough Husaini Islamic Centre held a pre- marriage seminar.

Husaini Islamic Centre, Peterborough for the first time ever in conjunction with all other major mosques of Peterborough worked together to organise a unique event to build bridges between Muslim community and people of different faiths.

The Event took place over three days 17 – 19th January, held at the Faizan-e-Medina Mosque, Gladstone Street, the event had a themed exhibition featuring unique artefacts from across the Muslim world and through its history.

To celebrate the birth of our Beloved Prophet Muhammed (saw) Husaini Islamic Centre Peterborough hosted a spectacular Milad Un Nabi programme on Saturday 2nd February 2013.

The event commenced with a mesmerising recitation of the Holy Quran by Brother Mohammed Baqir Al-Eisa followed by beautiful English and Urdu poetry, nasheeds and qasidas.

How Do You Know? Pre-engagement seminar

The Holy Prophet (SAWW) has said "No house has been built in Islam more beloved in the sight of Allah than through marriage."

With the aim of helping to create strong marriages and to help people make the correct decisions in choosing a spouse, the Marriage Subcommittee of the Peterborough Jamaat are holding a seminar for those looking to get married entitled "HOW DO YOU KNOW?"
