The KSIMC of London (Stanmore Jamaat) has been awarded £29,775 grant from the Faith Communities Capacity Building Fund. There were 1,200 applications and only 343 organisations were successful. The Jamaat had applied for £29,775 and has been offered the full amount.
The entire project was undertaken by Sister Sabira Murtaza Lakha, and the Jamaat expressed its deep appreciation for her tireless efforts and zeal in pushing this project forward. “Sister Sabira has done a tremendous job and I cannot thank her enough. She is an asset to our Community” said the Vice-President Shabir Mamdani. |
