Teacher Development Programme

On Sunday 17th March 2012, 21 teachers from Hyderi Islamic School underwent a teacher’s development programme. This whole day session, facilitated by the Capacity Building board from CoEJ, sought to address internal blocks to teaching and enable participants to realise their full potentials.

Youth shower flowers to celebrate the Prophet's (SAWW) birthday

Hyderi Islamic Centre youth celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (SAWW) by spreading good cheer on Streatham High Road

Last Sunday, 27th January, a group of youth from Hyderi Islamic Centre in Streatham braved the cold, drizzle and wind (and thankfully, some intermittent sunshine) to pound the pavements of Streatham High Road with one goal in mind: to bring a smile to the faces of the local community by distributing roses adorned with universal messages of good will.
