Hyderi Motion of representation by CoEJ |

Hyderi Managing Committee believes that the development and consistent excellent work undertaken by of The Council of European Jamaat has reached a stage where it is now ready to not only represent Hyderi Jamaat, but all European Jamaat at The World Federation.
Following on from the Dubai 2003 triennial conference, it was resolved that individual Jamaats would no longer be direct members of The World Federation but would instead require a regional representative to represent them.
The motion to allow representation by The Council of European Jamaats as the regional organisation was put to Hyderi members at the General Meeting on 12 January 2007.
We are pleased to announce that this motion was approved by our members at the General Meeting. The members approved that The Council of European Jamaats to submit an application for its direct membership to the World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim communities as the regional federation for Europe .
Once The Council of Euopean Jamaats' application is successful, the Jamaat Managing Committee will be authorised to withdraw their direct membership of the Jamaat from The World Federation.
