There have been five anti-terrorist searches carried out today near Leeds, West Yorkshire, these searches are related to the incident last Thursday. The MSF is working closely with the police and are being kept abreast of all major developments. Advise to organisations: - Contact all branches both locally and nationally and inform them of the situation.
- Ask them to speak to all local mosques and vulnerable Muslim communities.
- Be vigilant for any Islamophobic crimes and encourage individuals to report incidents.
- Ask Mosques / Muslim centres to meet with local police, and ask for message of reassurance to community.
