History of the Tournament |

Initially the CoEJ gents' sports tournament was known as the bank holiday August Tournament. In 2001 after Mulla Sahib passed away, it was suggested t rename the tournament in his memory, thus the "Mulla Asgharali Memorial Tournament" was born, giving a reminder to our growing children of the outstanding nature of the late Mulla Sahib. Over the years, we have learnt a lot from this great personality, who would wish us all to play in the spirit of good friendship and to display exceptional behaviour both on and off the field.
