Here are some Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1
You have mentioned that anyone not filling the entry form by 24th July will be penalised. The entry form includes names.
We agreed at the meeting that names can be given by 24th July, please see extract below from the rules and regulations of the tournament sent after the meeting. Please can you confirm this?
Answer 1
Form A, which contains the number of teams entering in each sport category MUST be submitted by the 18th of JULY 2010.
All player names changes to the teams MUST be submitted by the 25th of JULY 2010 using FORM B.
No changes and/or additions will be allowed after the 25th of JULY 2010. In extreme circumstances such as death in the family or players being injured, change requests can be accepted but at the discretion of the MAMT committee. We recommend that all teams always have an extra player in their squad in order to foresee such cases. In any case, NO changes will be permitted on the day of the tournament.

Question 5
I was and still am a member of Essex jamaat, which would be considered a small jamaat and normally when a tournament comes around I have represented Essex/Wessex jamaat without any problem. I have been a member of Stanmore jamaat since childhood and so you could say that I have dual membership of 2 jamaats (Essex and Stanmore). However, I am not and have never been a member of Stanmore Jafferies, which is the body which runs the sports clubs and MAMT tournament entry for Stanmore Jamaat and have not played in any weekly sports practices organized by them ever. Although I could join Stanmore Jafferies now, it would be too late for me to enter into the tournament to represent Stanmore Jamaat. My question is am I still able to join Wessex Jamaat’s team for entry into the tournament (as I did last year) as I am still a member of Essex Jamaat and have not joined Stanmore Jafferies? Or would I be considered part of Stanmore Jamaat and rule number 20 will be applied to me.
Answer 5
Yes you can join Wessex Jamaat as far as you are a member of Essex Jamaat sports club and not a member of Stanmore Jafferies sports club.
