The football rules on the COEJ website are wrong.  They appear to be a mixture of last year's rules and the 2006 rules in the Brunel tournament.

These are the same rules which were distibuted last year- for 5 a side football.

7 a side rules are the same in theory except the ball is allowed to go over head height.

Remember this year for 5 a side, squad is 8 players.

For 7 a side, squad is 10 players.

Length of matches will be confirmed to you all on Saturday.

Please note like last year all players need to be at Power League by 9am for registration.  Briefing by referees and organisers at 9.30am.  Matches to begin at 10am.

As per the rules, players should note that a team must be on the pitch in accordance with the fixture time.  A team will be given a grace period of 2 minutes by the referee to be on the pitch and ready to play.  If not, the match will be forfeited, and a 5-0 victory will be awarded to the opponents.
