The Women's Desk of the World Federation and the Welfare Committee of CoEJ have organised a Pre-Marriage Seminar for engaged couples to be held on Sunday 26th June 2005. This Seminar will inshAllah be a valuable form of guidance for couples in starting off and sustaining a successful married life. Research has shown that couples that are guided are able to enhance their relationship and navigate through married life by constructively dealing with difficulties that threaten the quality of their relationship. The seminar will be run by a team of community members who have participated in a 3-Day training programme for Marriage Educators last year delivered by the organisation 'Marriage Care'. The Islamic perspective will be covered by Islamic scholars. Engaged couples from all UK and European Jamaats are invited to take part in this Seminar by filling in the registration form.
