The Council of European Jamaats recently arranged for Nargisbai Panju to travel to Stockholm and Trollhattan in Sweden to discuss some moral issues and Homosexuality with the young ladies of these two communities. Herewith is a brief report of Nargisbai's visit.
Trollhatton Friday: Discussion with young ladies about the environment around us and the problems that our youths face. History of homosexuality from the time of Hazrat Lut when it started and how the law changed in different parts of the world until now. Talked about what Islam says about this and why.
Trollaton Saturday(a.m.) : Discussion with women of all ages about the importance of bringing up children, importance of keeping good friends and how to keep our soul clean - according to the hadith of our Prophet.
Stockholm - Saturday(p.m.): Discussion with the mothers about how the social environment is affecting the youngsters of our community and how we can help them.
Stockholm - Sunday Madressa: Talked to the adult boys and girls separately about Homosexuality and sexuality issues according to our Islamic Sharia. Discussed about peer pressure and schools and how to strengthen our nafs.
