An Orientation seminar was held for the participants of this year's Madinah al-Ilm and Bab al-Ilm Summer Camps to be held in Qum, Iran. The Seminar was chaired by Sheikh Abbas Ismail. At the seminar, WF’s Qum Office was represented by Sheikh Nadir Jaffer and Sheikh Mohammed Ali Ismail, and CoEJ was represented by Hasnain Panjwani and Hasnain Ramji. Also in attendance were some of the mentors: Aliya Datoo, Mehjabeen Rahim and Munir Chagpar. Sheikh Abbas began by introducing the organisers from World Federation (WF) and CoEJ. He also explained the roles of the regions and the WF’s Qum office in the organisation and delivery of the summer camps.
The students were then given a chance to meet the mentors and hear first hand from them about why they applied to be mentors on this year's trip. An overview of the daily camp schedule was also provided by Sheikh Nadir Jaffer.
