- Continue to support and work with various members of the council and other Jamaats and regional bodies world wide including arrangement of speakers for majalis. All Alim /Zakirs on our Data Base were circularised to check availability for Muharram and all members Jamaats were sent Questionnaire form to check their requirements for this year. Enquiries for Muharram, Ashre Zainabiya and other majalises received this year included arrangements for.

The Islamic cultural affairs committee is primarily involved in promotion of understanding of Shia Islamic faith and culture both within & outside our community.
The activities of this committee includes:
- Support & encourage Interfaith activities in our communities.
- Encourage better understanding of our faith & culture within our communities.
- Coordinate the needs of the members for Alims/Zakirs.
- Publish leaflets/booklets/DVDs for distribution to members.
- Develop resource centre of videos, DVD & publications.
- Assist CoEJ in administration of Alim grant & Hilal Advisory Team.
- Represent COEJ in relevant external organisation as requested by Executive.
- Arrange seminars & weekend retreats for various groups within our community
