- We continue to support and work with various members of the council and other Jamaats and regional bodies world wide including arrangement of speakers for majalis including Muharram. All Alim /Zakirs on our Data Base have been circularised to check availability for Muharram and all members Jamaats have been sent Questionnaire form to check their requirements for this year.
- The Alim Zakir Directory is being updated. The secretariat is verifying the data about alims/dhakirs. Work on alim contract and terms of reference has been completed and will be published in the above directory. The final draft has prepared and has been included in the meeting papers for comments . Special thanks to Brother Z. Manji on his input and Mrs Sharmin Pirbahi on professional support.
- CDs prepared for Jamaats to project simultaneous Arabic script and English translation of regularly recited duas in our centres.
- Have been asked by the IEB of World Federation to be part of committee involved in reviewing Alim grant and input COEJ member’s perspective.
- Attended M.C.B reception for leadership course held in Leicester, and have attended MCB council of mosque meeting when invite
- We supported the annual Behlul conference for our youths in Leicester. COEJ gave part of the Funding required (£1500) in addition to encouraging & supporting this. Dr Jiwa the Vice President of COEJ and myself attended this successful conference (over 350 youths nationwide participated).
- Mosque open days and introduction to Islam leaflets. Introduction to islam leaflets are now ready and each member jamaat can receive their copies from the secretary in the next 2 weeks. The experience of ICA members who helped out in Peterborough open mosque day is available support other jamaats in this important venture.
- Attended Alim retract organised by IEB of World federation in September where a number of important issues like Tableegh , Marjaiyat and Moon sighting were discussed.

C Abul Fazlil Abbas seminar celebrating 1400 years from his birth.
D Reply to anti shia propaganda leaflet for youths.
