Ayatollah Ali Meshkini Passes Away |

Ayatollah Ali Meshkini, 86, passed away on Monday afternoon after two weeks suffering from pulmonic diseases.
The Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei expressed his condolences on the sad occasion of demise of Ayatollah Ali Meshkini.
In parts of the message, the Islamic Revolution Leader said, "Demise of such a pious and devoted Alim has caused deep sorrow and grief for me."
The message continued, "The honourable Alim was a rare character in all his life and was a model for his students and followers."
"Although he had a top position in the Islamic Republic as the head of the Leadership Assembly of Experts, he always lived a humble life."
"Demise of such an spiritual man and honourable Alim is a great loss."
The Leader concluded, "I condole with his honourable family, the whole nation, religious authorities and seminaries
and I beg Allah the almighty to have mercy on his soul."
Ayatollah Ali Meshkini was 86 when he left this mortal world for his abode in paradise.
May Allah swt grant him eternal peace and proximity of 14 Ma'sumeen a.s.
