The Education committee of the Council of European Jamats has organised a UCAS seminar, which shall take place on Saturday 16th September 2006 at Hujjat Stanmore from 3:30pm ending with Maghribain Salaat and dinner. The seminar, which is aimed for students applying for university entrance, is conducted by Arif Hasham and Hasnain Ramji and forms part of the "Transition 2 Uni" day The course will help students through filling in the form, and structuring their personal statement. It will provide invaluable resources to enable them to build their own statement that showcases their abilities and character in the best possible light. Application advice and interview tips will also be covered, including thoughts and comments from admissions tutors. The course aims to highlight what is being looked for by universities, and how students should present themselves to give the best impression.
