Madrasah Sani e Zahra of North Paris Jamaat visits London UK |

On 28th February 2007 Nassirbhai Mahmoud, principle of Madrasah Sani e Zahra of North Paris Jamaat, and a group of Madrasah students made a visit to London, UK. The objectives of the visit were to visit London city, interact with other Jamaats and visit some of our institutions in U.K. The Council of European Jamaat’s Education Committee facilitated the visit of the Madressah.
After some sightseeing of central London the group on Friday 2nd March visited the Stanmore Jamaat and after a short tour were given an interesting and informative lecture in Gujrati by Muhsinbhai Dharamsi about the works of the World Federation and Council of European Jamaats. A lively discussion took place after this very informative talk and allowed for the interaction of all the participants.
The visitors also had the opportunity to listen to a lecture in French by Arifbhai Chandoo, which was highly appreciated. The madressah entourage were also able to visit the Hyderi Madrasah in action.
We believe that the visit was a success and we hope that these types of trips can continue to occur to bring us together and increase our ties with the community of Europe.
