After the success of the Past Paper Practice 2007 course run in York by the CoEJ Education, interest for a 2008 course has already developed. The Education Committee have already looked into the feasibility of running a course however the major obstacle in 2008 is differing school holiday dates. The difference is so much that we were unable to find 5 common days (excluding Easter weekend) therefore making it is impossible to run one sole course.
Due to the nature of this it is an option to run two independent courses in the North and South of the country for the respective areas. However running it this way will be much more costly and hence it will only be feasible if the fees per student is around the £450 mark. This amount will include full board accommodation (three full meals per day), resources include revision guides and at least 7 hours of class time a day. |

These talks were entitled “First year uni experiences”, “Spirituality at University” and “Freshers Week”. All these talks were great and the spirituality talk was especially useful as it gave an indication, and first hand experience, at how University can change ones life. |
