Day 7 - Sunday 29 July 2007

Boys' diary:  MashAllah, we are back in the wonderful city of Qum after returning from Tehran. It was past midnight and all of us were still awake listening to Br. Alihusain's amazing stories when I fell asleep. The journey was quite tiring.

I woke up for Fajr in the morning at 3:00 am and went downstairs to join the Jamaat namaaz, it took about 10 minutes, then I went back to sleep. MashaAllah I woke up fresh in the morning at 8:30 am, went straight for a shower and skipped breakfast because I overslept.

I managed to get to lesson on time. Our first lesson started and it was Aqaid and it was very interesting. The lesson ended at 9:45 am and we had 15 minutes break.

At 10.10 we started our Ahkam class. This lesson was the best till now, though it was a very short lesson.

During the 10:45 am break time, cake and a drink were served as refreshments, but we had only 15minutes.

11:45 am - was free time for 1/2 hour. We chilled in the room until namaz time. After Namaaz food was served and it was chicken and rice.

From 2:00pm our free time started. So I went to the Holy Shrine (Haram) and the Internet cafe. Exactly at 4:00 pm Quran lesson started.

17:30 - I managed to go shopping only for books, there were amazing books about Islam. After shopping we all went to the Haram for Namaaz and Ziyarat. We left the Haram at 9:00 for Hawza. The dinner was great and was served right after, with a great dessert.

The day started off with me waking up at Fajr. After that I rested because I was very tired from the trip to Tehran. I skipped breakfast and then woke up at 8:55 to prepare for class.

Class was very interesting. First we learned about Nubuwat and the difference between Nabi, Rasul, and Ulul A'dham prophets. Our next class taught us method of Taharat.

After lunch and free time in the afternoon, we went to Quran class where we learned rhythmic Arabic. After that we went to sleep and then then went book shopping. On the way back from the Haram, Rizwan Khimji and I went to buy honey and some soda. After that was dinner time, which was "Kuku Paka" but without the chicken :) Then Muhammad Halani and I went to get a phone card so that I could call home.

We can came to the residence and played table tennis with Mohammed Hassan Walji and Rizwan Khimji. It was a lot of fun. We will soon have a table tennis tournament to determine a winner in the whole group.
