After deliberation and collection of information from throughout the world, the Hilal Committee of the Islamic Education Board of the World Federation, in conjunction with the Council of European Jamaats has determined 1 Shawwal 1427 to be: 1. For followers of Ayatullah Seestani,
a) For Mu'mineen in Europe: The Office of Ayatullah Seestani, may the Almighty grant him a long life, has issued the following as part of their Eid statement : "By His Name The Most High As for European countries tomorrow, Tuesday (24 October) will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadhan, based on His Eminence's ruling of non-unity of horizons."
b) For Mu'mineen in Sub-Saharan Africa:
Africa Federation has announced Tuesday 24 October as the 1 of Shawwal 1427
c) For Mu'mineen in India:
